Parker vs. Wardley Preview

The hype for this fight was massive; a boxing veteran hunting for one last moment of glory, going up against one of Britains best young prospects. This feature tells the story of how they got here and what this opportunity means to them both. Working with archive footage and multiple contributor interviews, this edit took the shape of a short form documentary about these two incredible fighters.  

Joey Essex Feature

When Joey Essex announced his intention to fight on DAZN, a film crew was sent out to spend two days with him in the build up to his fight. A part of the On The Ground series, the edit is supposed to be stripped back to give a real insight into the man behind the gloves. Having worked mainly with professional athletes in the past, getting to work with an individual like Joey who has excellent screen presence, was a real joy. Cutting down eight hours of footage into a twenty minute feature was creatively challenging and very interesting! 

Up close with AJ

During the fight week there is always the opportunity to interview fighters, but ahead of AJ's biggest fight since the Usyk rematch, we knew this interview needed to be so much more. I had less then fifteen hours, from sitting in on the shoot to the completion of this edit

Harringey Box Cup

The annual box cup is a proud tradition for amateur boxers from all over the world. From AJ to Katie Taylor, some of the biggest names we know today have fought there. This year I had the pleasure of cutting this feature with a tight four day turnaround. This was a real challenge, but it ended up becoming one of my favourite edits to work on to date.

Fight Night RAW

This is an unseen look inside the events, showing BTS of fighters, production and so much more. This is edited from inside the broadcast truck on the night, working with two camera ops and the EVS director to ensure I have all the content to make sure this feature is as unique and interesting as possible.

Eubank & Benn - Run the tape

Ahead of their blockbuster rematch, DAZN sat down with both fighters to get their thoughts on the fight of the year that they had in April. Editing two very different personalities reacting to the same content proved a unique challenge, but one that seemed to thrive in the chaos.
